YOUR FIRST VISIT

The Hardest Part is Walking In.
Everything After That,
We've Got Covered.

Most people arrive not knowing exactly what to expect. That’s exactly why we built this page.

Your first visit is not a test. It’s not a deep dive into your history. It’s not you lying on a couch while someone takes notes. It’s a conversation: a chance for us to get to know each other and figure out together whether this is the right fit.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

When you walk in there’s no receptionist, no clipboard, and no paperwork waiting for you. You’ll find a comfortable lounge space, everything you need will be waiting for you. Find a spot, get comfortable, and your clinician will come out to meet you.

There’s no check-in process. No waiting room anxiety. Just a space that was built to feel different from the moment you walk in.

Most people arrive carrying the full weight of their day. Traditional therapy starts the moment you sit down, which means the first fifteen minutes is spent helping your nervous system catch up. We don’t do that.

Your first visit: We walk through the movement process together so nothing feels foreign. After that, your personalized process will help you self-direct.

YOUR FIRST SESSION · 60 MINUTES

Just a Conversation. Nothing More.

Your first session is about one thing — getting to know each other.

We want to hear what’s been going on, what you’ve already tried, and what you’re hoping to find here. We’ll share how we work and what the method looks like so nothing feels foreign when you come back. And we’ll both leave knowing whether this is the right fit.

You don’t need to prepare anything. You don’t need to have the right words. You don’t need to know what’s wrong or be able to explain it clearly. It’s our job to help you figure that out.

You will not be asked to do more than you’re ready for, at any time.

WHAT COMES NEXT · 90 MINUTE SESSIONS

This Is What You're Actually Here For.

If the first session feels right, your second visit is where the Crossover Method begins.

Every session from here follows the same three-part arc, designed to work with your nervous system rather than against it.

Why 90-minutes?

We didn’t make sessions 90 minutes to fill time. We made them 90 minutes because anything less would be doing the work a disservice.

If talking about it, reasoning through it, or simply deciding to move on would have resolved what you’re carrying, you would have done it already. When a stressor doesn’t resolve, it isn’t a failure of willpower or insight. It means what you’re dealing with lives below the level of conscious thought, in the body and nervous system as a stuck, unconscious pattern. Patterns like that don’t respond to logic. They respond to conditions, safety, attention, and a system that feels supported enough to do what it already knows how to do.

The first 15 minutes — the Crossover Window — is a deliberate crossing over from your external world into your internal one. You came from traffic, deadlines, notifications, pressure, and everything that was pulling at you before you walked through the door. Your nervous system is still there. The Crossover Window gives it permission and conditions to arrive here instead. That shift, even when it feels quiet or subtle, changes the capacity of everything that follows.

The 60 minutes of session work becomes more effective and more efficient because of the 15 minutes that preceded it. A small investment in preparation creates significantly more room for the work to land.

The final 15 minutes — the Cool-Down — exists because what happens in the session is genuine work, not a conversation you can push down and walk away from. Jumping straight from that depth back into the demands, pressures, and expectations of your external world is doing a disservice to everything you just engaged in. The Cool-Down gives the work time and space to integrate. It lets your system digest what just happened and prepare to re-enter the world, not mid-process, but settled.

Neither the Crossover Window nor the Cool-Down are meant to be bold, felt experiences. You may not consciously register them working, that’s completely normal. These are subtle, supportive conditions your system is quietly benefiting from even when your logical mind doesn’t have an outward experience of it. Your nervous system will thank you for them even if you never feel the moment it happens.

The 90 minutes isn’t about more time. It’s about the right conditions to make the work hold.
