Meagan Yates
PhD, LPC
Meagan is a former collegiate soccer player with seven years of experience in the counseling field. After facing unexpected challenges at the end of her athletic career, she understands how transitions in sports can affect one’s sense of identity and excitement about the future. Drawing from her own journey, Meagan uses her athletic background to connect with and support others as they prioritize their mental health and well-being.
Along with supporting current and former athletes, Meagan is passionate in working with all individuals through the lens of how chronic stress and trauma impact us, often unconsciously shaping the way a person thinks, feels, and behaves. She is committed to helping clients understand these effects and using the body as the starting point to support and guide individuals toward healing and happiness
