Who We Work With

How does Crossover Counseling specialize in working with current & former athletes?

Athletes encounter a unique journey, facing pressures and challenges that shape their experiences in significant ways.

Mental health is often overlooked or misunderstood in the athletic world, with many believing the misconception that mental toughness means ignoring emotional struggles. This mindset, along with a lack of mental health resources in sports, perpetuates the problem.

As a practice of former collegiate athletes, we use our experiences and knowledge to guide and support current and former athletes toward a more well-rounded and fulfilling quality of life.

Can I benefit from your services if I'm not involved in sports?

Absolutely. While the athlete's path is distinct, the pursuit of mental well-being is a universal human experience. We all strive for a sense of balance and peace, reminding us that, despite any differences, our need for understanding and support in mental health is something we all share.
